I’m Brett Novik – and as you’ve probably guessed by now, I help folks buy and sell outdoor recreational real estate in eastern Idaho and western Wyoming.
I learned from an early age that my purpose in life was to please people. It’s what fulfills my life. I grew up in New York before moving to Idaho to pursue my dreams as a fly fishing guide in the spring of 1996. Please don’t hold that against me!!!
I spent 20+ years guiding on the South Fork of the Snake River, in the Louisiana Marsh for giant redfish and in the Florida Keys chasing tarpon, bonefish and permit.
Knowing I couldn’t guide forever, I jumped at an opportunity at a career in real estate. And it was one of the best decisions in my life! Being a realtor is not unlike being a fly fishing guide. Instead of guiding a fly fishermen to a rising trout, I now guide people through their real estate ventures.
I still love to hunt & fish. When I’m not knee deep in a real estate deal, you’ll find me floating the South Fork or running up a mountain chasing down the call of a bugling elk.
I married the love of my life, Jany. And for those of you who know me well, you can attest that without her, I would be lost!
